Ivan Lazuta ("Developer", "we", "us", or "our") operates the Steam Tracker mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

Our Service acts as a client that connects directly to the Steam Web API. To provide the core functionality of the Service (such as syncing your game library, achievements, and friends list), we require you to authenticate using Steam's official OpenID login.

What we collect and store LOCALLY on your device:

• Steam ID: A unique numerical identifier associated with your Steam account.
• Public Profile Data: Information such as your display name, avatar, list of owned games, playtime, and public achievements.
• Custom Lists & Tracking Data: Any custom lists, notes, or progress statuses you create within the app are saved exclusively on your device's local database.

2. Data Storage and Server Processing

We do NOT operate our own backend servers. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information, Steam ID, or gameplay data on any external servers owned by the Developer.

All data retrieved from the Steam API is processed directly on your device and cached locally to provide offline functionality. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, your custom lists and local tracking progress will be permanently deleted unless manually exported.

3. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party APIs to function. The data retrieved is subject to the privacy policies of those third parties:

• Valve Corporation (Steam): We use the Steam Web API to fetch your public gaming data. We do not have access to your Steam password or login credentials, as authentication is handled entirely through Steam's secure OpenID portal. For more information, please review the Steam Privacy Policy.

4. Analytics and Crash Reporting

To improve the Service, we may use standard third-party tools (such as Google Analytics for Firebase or Crashlytics) that collect anonymous, aggregated data regarding app performance, crash logs, and device type. This data does not contain personally identifiable information or your Steam data.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
